As a general rule, you should wash your bedding every 2-4 weeks. If you sweat more at night or are allergic, you should wash your bed linen regularly every 2 weeks.
Since our long-staple Indian cotton is very robust, you can use normal heavy-duty detergent for our bed linen. This also works best for white linens. You can find the exact dosage on the respective detergent packaging .
Whether you use liquid detergent or powder use is ultimately up to you. However, the powder is more environmentally friendly because it contains fewer surfactants and additives.
For the Cottonbabe bed linen, you can select whites and coloreds as the washing program. You can wash the Cottonbabe bed linen at up to 60 degrees.
For the most crease-free laundry possible, make sure that you choose the lowest possible spin speed. We recommend a maximum of 900.
You should avoid using fabric softener. No bedding needs it necessarily. Even if it makes the bed linen even fluffier, it inhibits the absorbency and breathability of the cotton . Especially if you sweat a lot, this is not an advantage. Fabric softener can also cause allergies , which is why you shouldn't use it on children.
Yes , you can put the bedding in the dryer as normal. We even recommend this to you.
Yes , our bed linen tends to get softer with each wash.
Cotton tends to be a little wrinkled after washing and drying. You do n't necessarily have to iron the bed linen, but we recommend it because it will be softer and look neater .
For ironing, it is best to use an ironing board that is as large as possible and a steam iron . With this setup you have ironed your bed linen in no time.
If you only have a normal ironing board and a normal iron at hand, ironing will of course also work.
We will inform you about the expected delivery time of your order in the order overview as well as in your order confirmation by e-mail - however, this time may vary depending on the selected items and the shipping method.
Why hasn't my order shipped yet?
Please give us some time to prepare your order for shipping. We usually ship orders within 48 hours, some orders may take a little longer.
Can I change again when and how my package will be delivered?
That's fine! Our shipping partners DHL and DHL Express always send you an e-mail to announce the package. You can use this to specify your desired delivery location, such as a parcel shop, or change the delivery day.
What happens if I'm not there on the first delivery attempt?
If the courier doesn't meet you, you can use the shipment tracking to see whether your package was handed over to a neighbor or a branch, for example. In some cases, a new delivery attempt will be made.
My package should have already arrived?
Please use the shipment tracking to check whether the package was delivered to a neighbor. If it's not with a neighbor and the shipping status hasn't changed in 5 days, please contact us - our contact options are below.
Yes, shipping is free in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. When shipping to other countries, we charge a shipping fee depending on the product.

Return & Refund
You can return duvet covers, pillowcases and fitted sheets as well as pillows and blankets within 30 nights of trial sleep. After all, you should feel comfortable in our products. Your satisfaction is very important to us.
Unfortunately, carpets and scented candles cannot be "tested".
Yes, the return shipping is free.
We will send your money back to you as soon as possible after the goods have arrived and been checked in our warehouse. Usually you get back within 7-10 days after you brought the package to the post office. This is done using the same payment method that you originally paid with.
There is a 14-day cancellation policy for all products. You can therefore send us an e-mail to email@example.com within 14 days of purchase with the relevant content of the cancellation policy. The product (excluding bedding and duvets/pillows) should be unused.
Has the 14-day cancellation period expired?
With bed linen, blankets and pillows, you can try out the product for 30 nights and test the product extensively.
