Description:

Our pillowcases were developed together with our duvet covers – for the perfect night’s sleep. Radiant white, a fine coloured seam and cotton that feels like silk – pure luxury. Cottonbabe deliberately avoids wild patterns and focuses on the beauty of simplicity. As Leonardo da Vinci knew: “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.”

Genuine thread count – no number tricks

Many suppliers count twisted double yarns twice – which quickly turns 150 threads into 300 on the label. At Cottonbabe, every number is genuine: 300 single threads per square inch, woven from exceptionally fine yarn.

Exquisite cotton – right where it grows

We use only extra-long-staple cotton (ELS cotton) with a staple length of 34 to 38 mm. The longer the fibre, the finer, smoother and more durable the yarn. We produce where the cotton grows – giving us access to the best qualities.

Silky soft – without silicones

Our bed linen gets its silky feel from fibre and weave alone – without silicones and without softeners. That is why it stays soft and smooth even after many washes and becomes even more pleasant with every wash.

No blends, no cosmetics

In the industry it is not uncommon to blend inexpensive short-staple cotton with a small share of long fibres and then make the fabric artificially soft with softeners and silicone finishes. It feels good in the shop – but such finishes can wash out over time. We don’t take that route: Cottonbabe bed linen is made of 100% extra-long-staple cotton, and its softness comes from fibre and weave alone.

The piping – our signature

A fine cord lies inside the seam, wrapped in yarn-dyed satin. This makes the piping chlorine-resistant so it keeps its colour – even in hotel laundry. Elaborate craftsmanship we deliberately refuse to compromise on.

We ship with DHL; mattresses are delivered by freight forwarder. We deliver to Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the other EU member states (except the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla).

Delivery times

• Germany: 2–3 working days
• Austria, other EU countries and Switzerland: 5–7 working days

Switzerland: Deliveries are made duties unpaid. Import VAT, any customs duties and the carrier’s customs clearance fees are not included in the price and are payable on delivery; these costs are borne by you.
